Mandat : Conseil des présidents de club

Mandat

Un conseil composé des présidents des membres de classe 1 (clubs de natation enregistrés de SNB), ou de leurs représentants, sera établi pour assurer la liaison avec le conseil d'administration par l'entremise du président de SNB et pour communiquer et coordonner les programmes, les services et les activités de SNB. Le conseil fournira un lien avec les points de vue du secteur afin de s'assurer que les politiques et les programmes de SNB sont alignés sur les besoins du secteur. Ce conseil a pour but de servir de canal officiel de communication entre le conseil d'administration de SNB et les présidents de club, ainsi que de canal de communication et de rétroaction entre les clubs membres et leurs présidents et le conseil d'administration. Le rôle du Conseil des présidents de club sera "consultatif" et non directif ou décisionnel par nature.

Principales fonctions

Dans le cadre de son mandat, le conseil s'acquittera des tâches clés suivantes :

  • communiquer et coordonner les programmes, les services et les activités de SNB au sein de leurs clubs respectifs et de leurs membres
  • Conseiller le conseil d'administration de SNB sur les questions sectorielles générales qui ont une incidence sur notre sport, nos clubs et nos membres.
  • Fournir un forum permettant d'identifier et de discuter des questions majeures ayant un impact sur le sport.
  • Conseiller le conseil d'administration sur la gouvernance et la représentativité
  • Aider le SNB à déterminer les régions pour l'organisation des compétitions.
  • Activités de recrutement des membres

Autorité

Ce conseil sera un conseil consultatif de Natation Nouveau-Brunswick. En tant que tel, le conseil des présidents de club n'a pas l'autorité d'agir en tant qu'agent de SNB, de son conseil d'administration ou de son directeur général. Le conseil des présidents de club fournira un lien avec les points de vue du secteur afin d'assurer que les politiques et les programmes de Natation Nouveau-Brunswick sont alignés sur les besoins du secteur.

Composition et nomination

Ce conseil est composé de tous les présidents des clubs membres de classe 1 qui occupent un poste dans leur club respectif, ou de leur délégué. Le poste de président du conseil des présidents de club sera occupé à tour de rôle chaque année par tous les membres de classe 1 de SNB.

Réunions

Le Conseil se réunit par téléphone ou en personne, au besoin. Les réunions sont convoquées par le président et le conseil se réunit au moins quatre (4) fois par année.

Ressources

Le Conseil recevra de SNB les ressources nécessaires à l'accomplissement de son mandat et pourra, de temps à autre, avoir recours à des membres du personnel pour l'aider dans son travail.

Évaluation

Le conseil d'administration évaluera le rendement du Conseil. Le rendement du comité sera évalué en fonction de la réalisation des objectifs et des résultats annuels. Cet examen aura lieu à la fin de l'année de la SNB.

Rapports

Le Conseil rendra compte au conseil d'administration lors de toutes ses réunions et aux membres lors de l'assemblée générale annuelle, sous la forme d'un rapport écrit présenté par le président du Conseil ou par un membre désigné par le président.

Révision et approbation

Le conseil d'administration réexaminera le présent mandat tous les deux ans ou selon les besoins.

The council will provide a link to the views of the sector in order to ensure that SNB policies and programs are aligned with the needs of the sector. This council is intended to act as a formal two way conduit for communication from our SNB Board to the Club Presidents as well as communication & feedback form member clubs & their presidents to the board. The role of the Club Presidents Council will be “advisory” and not directive or decision making in nature.

Key Duties

In fulfilling its mandate, the Council will perform the following key tasks:

  • communicate and coordinate the programs, services and activities of SNB within their respective clubs and their club membership
  • To advise the Board of SNB on broad sector issues that impact our sport, our clubs and membership
  • Provide a forum to identify and discuss major issues impacting the sport
  • Advising Board on governance and representability
  • Assist SNB in determining regions for organising competitions
  • Membership Recruitment activities

Authority

This council will be an advisory council of Swimming New Brunswick. As such, the Club Presidents Council has no authority in terms of acting as an agent for SNB, its board or Executive Director. The Club Presidents Council will provide a link to the views of the sector in order to ensure that Swimming New Brunswick policies and programs are aligned with the needs of the sector.

Composition & Appointment

This council is composed of all Class 1 Member club Presidents holding office with their respective club, or their delegate. The position of Club President Council Chair will work on an annual rotational basis of all SNB Class 1 members.

Meetings

The Council will meet by telephone or in person, as required. Meetings will be as called by the Chairperson and the council will meet a minimum of four (4) times per year.

Resources

The Council will receive the necessary resources from SNB to fulfill its mandate, and may from time to time have staff persons assigned to assist the council with its work.

Evaluation

The Board of Directors will evaluate the performance of the Council. The performance of the committee will be assessed against the accomplishment of yearly objectives/deliverables. This review will take place at the end of the SNB year.

Reporting

The Council will report to the Board of Directors at all board meetings and to the Members at the Annual General Meeting, in the form of a written report presented by the Chair of the Council or a member as designated by the chair.

Review and Approval

The Board of Directors will review these terms of reference every two years, or as required.

But nothing the copy said could convince her and so it didn’t take long until a few insidious Copy Writers ambushed her, made her drunk with Longe and Parole and dragged her into their agency, where they abused her for their.
